Mahindra BE 6e Car Launched With 550KM Range, Best In Smart Features 

Mahindra BE 6e has been gifted a very futuristic design from the outside. It is the very first SUV introduced under the newly formed electric-only BE sub-brand of the company. The company plans to bring in several other models under that ‘BE’ name in the future. Its cabin could well inspire an aircraft.

Mahindra BE 6e Electric SUV Price And Features: India’s leading automobile manufacturer Mahindra & Mahindra has finally added more electric vehicles to its fleet after a long wait, and it has officially rolled these out for sale, the new Mahindra BE 6e and XEV 9e. The new BE 6e SUV is priced starting from Rs 18.90 lakh (ex-showroom).

This is a very futuristic design for this new SUV. This is the first SUV to be introduced under the electric-only BE sub-brand of the company. Further models will also follow under the same name in due course. Currently, the base variant prices are revealed by the company, while rest of its variants will also be disclosed in time.

New Mahindra BE 6e Design 

In terms of look and design, it is most importantly quite similar to its concept model. In fact, it is a coupe style SUV. The traditional wing mirrors and flush fitting door handles remain for the change from the concept. It has very sharp styling, and thick gloss black cladding along its edges. Apart from this, the wheel arches give a good dual-tone finish to the exterior.

Now it has a new C-shaped LED daytime running light with an illuminated logo. Split spoiler divided into two parts, wraparound LED tail-lights with full width leave no stone unturned in improving its rear profile. The coupe style roof line at the rear further enhances its beauty.

Mahindra BE 6e Features 

First, let me describe details of the aforementioned information, as this is indicative of a technology that could be considered even as early as next month under a startup. The segment-first augmented reality head-up display remains a feature of the BE 6e alongside the 12.3-inch dual floating screen, which provides instrumentation and infotainment. Also, it operates with a new software called MAIA, comprising over 30 preloaded applications. The newest Mitla flat-bottom two-spoke steering wheels carry the illuminated Mahindra logo and have a floating center console, which features an airplane thrust lever-style drive mode selector, rotary dial for modes, a wireless charging pad, and a cup holder.

Mahindra BE 6e Power And Performance 

The BE 6e is now offered in two distinct tuning types. That is, the 59kWh variant is generating 228hp power. The 79kWh variant provides power of 281hp. While both variants produce the same amount of 380Nm torque. Officially, the company launched it only in the form of rear-wheel drive. However, it is expected that the all-wheel drive variant would be in the launch plans shortly.

The Mahindra BE 6e is introduced with two battery packs. The first is 59kWh and the second is 79kWh. This battery is lithium iron phosphate (LFP) powered and this SUV models based on Mahindra scalable and modular Born-EV INGLO platform which having the cell technologies installed with blade cell technology coming from a Chinese car company Build Your Dream (BYD).

Mahindra BE 6e Battery Range And Charging 

This SUV can gain speeds of 0 to 100 km/h in only 6.7 seconds. The automobile is equipped with three methods of driving, Range, Everyday, and Race mode. With a larger battery pack, the range would reach 682 km in one charge while the smaller battery pack would give a range of 550 km. The company claims that this battery can charge from 20 to 80 percent in a mere 20 minutes using a 175kW DC fast charger.
