The Government Increases The Retirement Age Of Employees, Know The New Update 

Few media houses speculate that the Modi government might very soon raise the age of its retirement employees between two or three years increase in age. The Modi government has said something about increasing the age of retirement in the entirety of the rumors. Interestingly enough, central employees retire at 60 years.

Update Regarding Retirement Age For Employees 

In fact, questions were raised regarding the amendment in retirement age for employees during the winter session of Parliament. In a written answer to the question, Union Minister of State Jitendra Singh stated that “there is no proposal to change the retirement age of central government employees being considered at this time.” He uttered that, “The government is, currently not considering any such proposal”.

According to Singh, continuously formulating new policies, programs and measures, the government is engaging in to-creating employment for job-seeking youth in civil services on actual basis. This has always been directed to all ministries to central government departments.

Government’s Statement On Increasing Retirement Age

Thus the central government denies such a proposal outright. The government further replied in the Lok Sabha: Instead of employing youth by reducing the retirement age of government employees, jobs will be provided, and the government seeks to provide employment through various initiatives, including the employment fair, making the denial completely finalized.

To the MP Tejasvi Surya, the Parliament has questioned the government measures for creating employment for those born after the year 2000. Has any possibility emerged regarding the retirement age of government employees basing on either completion of 30 years or after attaining the age of 60?
